Jeff Beck, the rock guitarist, passed away at the age of 78.
He was widely considered one of the greatest of all time.
He had a successful career, rising to fame in the 60s with the Yardbirds, and later formed his own group, The Jeff Beck Group, featuring Rod Stewart and Ron Wood.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, once as a member of the Yardbirds and once as a solo artist.
He won eight Grammy Awards, including one for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for hissong "Escape" in 1985.
Last year, Beck had a successful tour with Johnny Depp and recorded a cover album together titled “18”.
Many of Beck's former bandmates and colleagues have paid tribute to him, including Rod Stewart and Ron Wood, and KISS bassist and co-frontman Gene Simmons.
